Available in US sizes 5.5 to 10. Strappy styles tend to feel more snug across the top of the foot during the first few wears. If you have a higher instep or wider forefoot, go up half a size. The straps will give slightly after 2-3 wears as they soften.

Suedette is softer than synthetic leather out of the box, so break-in is minimal — most customers are comfortable from the first wear. However, suedette does not stretch, so if the fit feels tight at the store, it will stay tight. The material is also more prone to friction marks than leather, so if you notice rubbing on the first wear, apply a thin adhesive moleskin pad to that spot rather than pushing through it.

The PVC outsole grips well on dry indoor surfaces, pavement, and concrete. On wet tile or polished floors, these will be slippery — most open-toe styles are. The block heel handles uneven sidewalks reasonably well, but avoid cobblestone, gravel, and grass — the heel will sink into soft ground and the uneven surface puts sideways pressure on your ankle. For a wedding or outdoor event on grass, go with a wedge or flat style instead.

These are fashion-first footwear and do not have built-in orthotic support. If you have plantar fasciitis, the flat footbed will likely cause heel pain after 30-60 minutes of standing. You can improve this by adding a stick-on arch support pad — they are inexpensive and make a noticeable difference. For bunions, check that the straps do not cross directly over the bunion joint. If they do, the friction will cause irritation within the first hour. For wide feet, note that most of our styles are standard width. If your foot spills over the sides of the footbed, the style is too narrow and will cause edge pressure — go up half a size or choose an open-sided design.

Suedette looks great but requires more care than leather or synthetic alternatives. It scuffs easily — expect visible wear marks within 2-4 weeks of regular use, especially on lighter colors. Use a suede protector spray before the first wear and reapply monthly. To clean, use a dry suede brush in one direction — water will stain suedette permanently. Store away from direct sunlight as the color will fade. With proper care, expect 4-6 months of regular wear before the material shows significant aging.

The Black is a true solid black. the Brown shade may appear lighter or darker depending on your screen brightness. the Purple reads more plum than violet in person. We check the soles when processing returns, so try them on carpet or clean floors rather than outside. If you are unsure about sizing, order two sizes and return the one that does not fit.
